Varsity Head Coach Rick Robertson
Coach Rick Robertson is entering his 36th year of coaching high school baseball and starting his eleventh year as Plano Wildcats Head Baseball Coach. Coach Robertson graduated from East Texas Baptist University where he played baseball and earned his degree. During his time at Plano, the Wildcats have advanced to the playoffs eight times, winning the District Championship five times, reaching the Regional Semi-finals in 2011 and advancing to the Regional Finals in 2014. In addition to coaching baseball, Coach Robertson teaches history at Plano Senior High School. He and his wife Leslie have been married for 39 years and have two children; Kaitlyn and Ryan.
Varsity Assistant Coach Rick Cremer
Coach Cremer graduated from John A. Logan College where he played baseball from 1995-1996. He then signed with the Yankees organization from 1996-2001. Retiring in 2001, he attended Southern Illinois University. Coach Cremer received several awards for his accomplishments including an Honorable Mention High School All-American 1995, 1st Team All-State 1995, and Southern Illinois Player of the year 1995. He was a member of the Gulf Coast League Yankees (Rookie level), Greensboro Bats (Class A), Tampa Yankees (Class A), South Atlantic League All-Star Team 1998 and retired in 2001 due to shoulder surgery. Coach Cremer has worked for Plano Independent School District since 2005, teaching at Hendrick Middle School. This will be his 8th year with Plano Wildcats Baseball. In addition to assisting Coach Rob with the Varsity team, Coach Cremer serves as pitching coach. He and his wife Elizabeth have lived in the Frisco area for 13 years.
Coach Mark Chilivetis
Mark Chilivetis has been with Plano Wildcats Baseball staff for five seasons as Junior Varsity Coach. Coach Chili graduated from the University of Texas at Austin before moving to North Texas in 2009. He and his wife, Emily, have lived in the Plano area for nine years and have two young Wildcats; Abby and Hayes. Coach Chili taught history and coached freshman football and track at Jasper High School and at Clark High School. Coach Chili’s has been at Plano Senior High School for five years and teaches senior government and economics. He is also the Receivers Coach and Special Teams Coordinator for Plano Varsity Football. Coach Chili is excited to continue the tradition of Plano Wildcat Baseball.
Assistant Coach Zach Price
Coach Zach Price is in his second year at Plano Senior High School. He is Assistant Junior Varsity Baseball Coach, Assistant Plano Basketball Coach and teaches math at Plano Senior High School. Coach Price is from Granbury and graduated from Tarleton State University. He and his wife Lindsey have lived in the Plano area for three years and is looking forward to the upcoming baseball season.
Coach Jared Cloud
This is Coach Cloud’s 5th season with the Wildcat Baseball staff as an assistant coach. Coach Cloud graduated from SMU in 2004 where he caught for the Mustangs from 2001-2003. He is also completing his Masters in Sports Management at Texas A&M. This is Coach Cloud’s 5th year with PISD. He is on staff at Clark High School, where he teaches World Geography and coaches both football and baseball. Prior to coming to PISD, Coach Cloud taught at the Greenhill School where he also coached baseball at the middle school, JV and Varsity levels.
Coach Johnny Matusik
This is Coach Matusik’s first season with Plano Wildcats Baseball.
