Varsity Head Coach Rick Cremer

Coach Cremer graduated from John A. Logan College where he played baseball from 1995-1996. He then signed with the Yankees organization from 1996-2001. Retiring in 2001, he attended Southern Illinois University. Coach Cremer received several awards for his accomplishments including an Honorable Mention High School All-American 1995, 1st Team All-State 1995, and Southern Illinois Player of the year 1995. He was a member of the Gulf Coast League Yankees (Rookie-level), Greensboro Bats (Class A), Tampa Yankees (Class A), South Atlantic League All-Star Team 1998, and retired in 2001 due to shoulder surgery. Coach Cremer has worked for Plano Independent School District since 2005, currently teaching History at Plano Senior High School. He became Head Coach in the fall of 2020. He and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Frisco.

Assistant Coach Terry Burnett

Coach Burnett is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Biology. He has been teaching since 2006. He started his career teaching IPC and coaching baseball at Nimitz High School in Aldine ISD. For the next seven years, he coached baseball and taught a variety of subjects such as IPC and Biology at Klein Collins HS in Spring, Texas. He currently teaches Resource English 3 & 4 at Plano Senior High. His wife Karen teaches at Clark High School. They have three children Trevor, Travis, and Kendall.
