The Plano Wildcats Lose 9-4 to Keller

Conner Allen did all he could to give Plano a boost, but it wasn’t enough to get past Keller, as Plano lost 9-4 in seven innings on Saturday, ending their post season advancement.

Allen racked up three RBIs on one hit for Plano. He doubled in the second inning.
Steve Norrell got the win in relief for Keller. Norrell pitched two innings and allowed no runs.

Hunter Seay, Zane Wilkinson and Shea Langliers helped lead Keller. They combined for four hits and six RBIs.

Jacob Mattox lasted 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs. Gustavo Rodriguez couldn’t get it done in relief for Plano, taking the loss. He lasted 5 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

In the top of the first, Keller grabbed the early lead, 1-0. A single by Brad Gneiting, bringing home Hunter Seay started the inning off.

It didn’t take long for Plano to answer as they scored three runs of their own in the second. Plano scored on an error and a two-run double by Allen.
Keller never trailed after scoring two runs in the fourth on a two-run home run by Langliers.
