Varsity Assistant Coach Rick Cremer


Coach Cremer graduated from John A. Logan College where he played baseball from ’95 – ’96. He then signed with the Yankees organization from 1996-2001. Retiring in 2001, he attended Southern Illinois University. Coach Cremer has received several awards for his accomplishments including an Honorable Mention High School All-American ’95, 1st Team All-State ’95, and Southern Illinois Player of the year ’95. He was a member of the Gulf Coast League Yankees (Rookie level), Greensboro Bats (Class A), Tampa Yankees (Class A), South Atlantic League All-Star Team ’98 and retired in 2001 due to shoulder surgery. Coach Cremer has worked for PISD since 2005, teaching at Hendrick Middle School. This will be his 7th year with Wildcats baseball. In addition to assisting Coach Rob with the Varsity team, Coach Cremer serves as pitching coach. He and his wife Elizabeth have lived in the McKinney area for 12 years.
