Plano Wildcats Lose 5-4 In Walk-Off To Flower Mound Marcus

A ninth-inning Flower Mound Marcus wild pitch spelled defeat for the Plano Wildcats, falling 5-4 in walk-off fashion on Wednesday.

With the score tied at four in the ninth inning, walked, bringing home Wheeler.

A J Liu reached base four times in the game for the Plano Wildcats. He singled in the first and third innings.

Glowenlee recorded the win for Marcus. He tossed one inning of shutout ball. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Hudson Kuykendall was charged with the loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The top of the first saw the Plano Wildcats take an early lead, 1-0. The Wildcats threat began with a single by Liu. A single by Cody Farhat then moved Liu from first to second.

Plano posted one run in each of the third, fourth and seventh. In the third, the Plano scored on an RBI single by Brett Hudspeth, scoring Liu.

After a quick strike from Plano, Marcus responded with three runs in the third. Marcus scored on a two-run triple by Bernstein and a groundout by Easley.
