Plano Wildcats Fall 7-0 To Flower Mound

The Plano Wildcats wound up on the wrong side of a 7-0 score on Tuesday, tasting defeat at the hands of Flower Mound.

Caleb Kilian got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He tossed 5 1/3 innings of shutout ball. He struck out seven, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Graham Welch couldn’t get it done on the bump for the Plano Wildcats, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 4 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.

Flower Mound closer Thomas Lauer put away the final five outs to record the save. Flower Mound built upon its lead with four runs in the fifth. A clutch wild pitch scored Chad Paris to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Sean Wymer’s single, scoring Skyler Cox.
