Plano Shuts Out Dallas Jesuit, 3-0

Plano defeated Dallas Jesuit 3-0 on Saturday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Sawyer Van Vorhis induced a fly out from Maccoy Lopez to finish off the game.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Plano pitchers struck out six, while hurlers for Dallas Jesuit sat down four. Plano took an early lead in the first inning. Plano scored one run when Anderson Acinger singled with one out in the first inning.

Connor Hart earned the win for Plano. He went five innings, giving up no runs, no hits, striking out four, and walking one. Two relievers helped the Wildcats close out the victory. Beau Leonards threw one and two-thirds innings. Sawyer Van Vorhis recorded the last out to earn the save for Plano. Wyatt Hasson took the loss for Dallas Jesuit. He tossed five innings, giving up two runs, five hits, and striking out two.

Acinger and Conner Allen each drove in one run to lead Plano. Reuben led Dallas Jesuit with one hit in three at bats.
