Plano Pitches Well, But Can’t Find Enough Runs

Both teams were strong on the mound on Friday, but McKinney was stronger at the plate in a victory over Plano on Friday. Matt Foster started the game for Plano and recorded 20 outs.

John Marrs earned the win for McKinney. He pitched seven innings, allowing one run, three hits, striking out six, and walking one. Matt Foster took the loss for Plano. He tossed six and two-thirds innings, surrendering three runs, four hits, striking out ten, and walking none.

Garrett Maas, Cole Foster, and Conner Allen each managed one hit to lead Plano.
