A large crowd from Plano filled the stands and stood along the third baseline fence at Prestonwood Christian to watch game one of Bi-District playoffs between Plano and Southlake Carroll.
Plano watched the game slip away early on a homer by Jake Murphy off Matt Foster in the first inning. The Wildcats couldn’t recover in a 6-2 loss to Southlake Carroll on Friday.
Kole Ramage earned the win for Carroll. He pitched seven innings, giving up two runs, five hits, striking out eight and walking none. Matt Foster took the loss for Plano. He went five and a third innings, giving up four runs, six hits and striking out two.
Nathaniel Haynes and Conner Allen each drove in one run for Plano.
