Plano Dominates in First Inning To Beat Wylie

Plano defeated Wylie 14-4 thanks to a strong start. Plano scored on a double by Anderson Acinger, a single by Jackson Richardson, a double by Nathaniel Haynes, a triple by Cole Foster, a single by Garrett Maas and a triple by Braley Hollins in the first inning.

Matt Foster earned the win for Plano. He threw four and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs, four hits, and striking out six. Drake took the loss for Wylie. He tossed two innings, surrendering 13 runs, 15 hits, and walking one.

Wylie scored four runs in the fifth inning. Wylie’s big inning was driven by a groundout by Swilley, a double by Bridgewater, and a single by Jeske.

Plano collected 18 hits. Kennedy Medlock, Conner Allen, Anderson Acinger, Jackson Richardson, Nathaniel Haynes, Cole Foster, Nic Melson, and Garrett Maas each collected multiple hits for Plano. Medlock went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Plano in hits. Plano was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.
