Plano Defeated Guyer in Eight Innings

Plano defeated Guyer 4-2 in a back-and-forth affair on Friday. The game was tied at two with Plano batting in the top of the eighth when Mason Badour hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run.

Plano took an early lead in the first inning. Anderson Acinger doubled on a 1-0 count in the first inning, scoring one run. Plano evened things up at two in the top of the fifth inning. With two outs in the fifth inning Braley Hollins drove in one run when he doubled.

Caden Foster earned the win for Plano. He went three and two-thirds innings, allowing no runs, one hit, and striking out one. Jake Crabtree took the loss for Guyer. He threw three innings, allowing two runs, four hits, striking out three, and walking none.

Matt Foster started the game for Plano. He went four innings, surrendering two runs, three hits, and striking out seven. JT Thompson started the game for Guyer. He threw five innings, surrendering two runs, five hits, and striking out four.

Plano had nine hits in the game. Garrett Maas and Anderson Acinger each collected multiple hits for Plano. Kennedy Medlock, Braley Hollins, Mason Badour, and Anderson Acinger each drove in one run to lead Plano.
