Plano Can’t Stop Keller’s Sixth Inning Rally In 5-1 Loss

Keller took the lead in the sixth inning, and Plano was unable to muster a comeback, losing 5-1 in seven innings on Thursday at Dallas Baptist University.

Bryon Berner got the win in relief for Keller. Berner pitched 1 2/3 innings and allowed no runs.

Jacob Mattox took the loss for Plano. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.

The Wildcats scored their only run of the game on a sacrifice fly by Cody Farhat in the sixth inning.

Keller went up for good in the sixth, scoring five runs on a two-run double by Chase Green, a sacrifice fly by Hunter Seay, and an RBI single by Brad Gnetting.
