Plano took the lead late in the game in a 7-6 victory over Plano East on Tuesday. The game was tied at three with Plano batting in the bottom of the fifth when Braley Hollins laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run.
Despite falling down by four runs in the sixth inning, Plano East tried to fight back. Plano East scored three runs in the failed comeback on a groundout and a double by Nathan Owles.
Plano captured the lead in the second inning. Nathaniel Haynes’s sac fly scored one run for Plano.

Matt Foster started the game for Plano. He pitched one and two-thirds innings, giving up no runs, one hit, striking out two, and walking none.
Home runs for Plano East came when Andrew Mills homered in the third inning and Jonathan Mcnair homered in the third inning.
